How To Cook Food Using Only The Sun

The GoSun Stove was founded by Patrick Sherwin in 2013. Patrick graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors of Science Degree, he has also has a North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners Solar PV and a Solar Thermal Installer Inventor certificate as well. This GoSun Solar Oven is capable of cooking a complete meal in 20 minutes and this can be done without the use of any fuel source at all. The stove can get as hot as 550°F and only requires the sun’s rays to cook the food. It consists of a borosilicate, glass cooking tube, two foldable reflector sheets, cooking tray that slides into the glass tube, a cleaning scrubber, user manual, cook book, and carrying handles. This unit is only 24” long and is easy to carry and transport from place to place. This stove can hold up to 53oz of liquid or 3 lbs. of food and the overall weight of the oven without food is 7 lbs. 12 oz. Another good thing about this stove is it does not require direct sunlight in order to cook the food meaning it can be cloudy out and the stove will still work. This stove uses the heat from the sun to reflect off of the foldable reflector sheets and heats the cooking tube on the inside which heats up the food requiring no hard work at all.
